About
Nak is a DJ for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Genres and emotions melted together into something that works as one long journey. Nak has made mixes for labels including Animalia and Vortex and her style resists an easy label, though the storytelling instinct is unmistakable. The sets move through deep broken beats, bass influenced chuggers, intricate dubstep and outright bangers, drifting between gentle ambience and gritty psychedelia along the way. Melbourne based. Best on a floor that's willing to follow rather than one demanding hits.
