About
Mista Nige is a DJ for hire in Canberra, ACT.
Thirty five years behind the decks, starting in London and taking in Europe, Asia and the UAE along the way, from running his own mobile service to holding down a resident nightclub spot in a five star hotel. Mista Nige now works out of Canberra with a full mobile disco rig, quality sound and a decent stack of lighting. Weddings, corporate nights, birthdays, club sets. He'll do a small room or a big one, and after that many years there isn't much a crowd can throw at him that he hasn't already handled.
The show
A full mobile disco arrives with him: proper sound gear and lighting, set up and run by one person who has been doing this internationally for well over thirty years. That length of time behind the decks shows mostly in the small decisions, knowing when to hold a run of songs and when to change direction. You get the rig and the reading of the room in the same booking. Nothing about the night depends on the venue owning any equipment.
