About
Mike McCaskill is a DJ for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Disco, deep house, jazz, techno and alternative dance, put together with a fair bit of thought about what the sound is actually doing. Mike McCaskill builds sets around sub bass, rhythmic repetition, minimal polyrhythms and layered harmonics, with organic textures and experimental touches worked through them. Sydney based. He is a musician as well as a DJ, and it shows in how the sets are constructed rather than just sequenced.
