About
Little Archer is a DJ for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Little Archer sits between beatmaker, jazz pianist and aspiring game composer, and the music comes out exactly where you'd expect from that. Australian hip hop and producers like Madlib, J Dilla and Nujabes on one side, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Joe Hisaishi and Nobuo Uematsu on the other, so head-nodding rhythms carry the emotional weight of a Japanese film score. He studied jazz at the Sydney Conservatorium, and live it shows in the keys playing and the detail in the synth work. Sydney based. Beat music with genuine musicianship inside it.
