About
Kilaheem is a DJ for hire in Perth, WA.
Requests get worked into the set live, on the night, rather than being politely noted and ignored. That's KILAHEEM's approach in Perth: classic party music, retro and singalong material, with the running order shaped by what the room is asking for. A playlist of your own tastes sent through beforehand helps set the direction. All equipment comes along, including the PA and a microphone, and announcements are no trouble if you need someone on the mic. And if actual vinyl suits the mood you're after, that can be arranged too.
The show
Four hours is the usual shape of a KILAHEEM booking, and that clock starts once the gear is up and running, not when he walks in the door. The kit that comes with him covers the lot: decks, PA, microphone. Send through a playlist of what you and your guests actually like beforehand and the night gets built around it instead of around a generic party set. If someone needs to make a speech or call the room to order, he'll hand the mic over or do it himself. And there's real vinyl in the boot if that's the mood you want.
On the day
Nothing to organise on the equipment side. KILAHEEM turns up with everything the night runs on, microphone included, so you're not chasing a hire company the week before. Point him at a power point and a spot with a bit of room, and that's the job done.
