About
Kegi is a DJ for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Deep, melodic and tech house, with an ear for the odd corner of a track. Kegi has been playing across Melbourne and pulling sets together out of firm bass lines, chopped vocal samples and rhythms that lock in and stay there. The influences tell you plenty: Solomun, Chris Stussy, Four Tet, Bicep, Nicolas Jaar, RUFUS DU SOL, Fred again.., CC:Disco. It's dance music that keeps giving people something new to notice an hour in. Club, mobile and wedding work. Needs power, a covered performance area and a large table for the decks.
On the day
Three things. Somewhere covered to perform from, because the gear does not enjoy weather. Access to a power point. And a large table, big enough to take DJ decks properly rather than balance them on a corner. Get those sorted and Kegi handles the rest of it himself.
