About
JIKS is a DJ for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
JIKS is an established bass player on the Australian scene, and the DJ sets come from the same place as the playing: groove first, everything else second. Funk, soul, house and broken beat, all of it bass driven and built to feel good rather than to impress. Melbourne based. Someone who has spent years holding down the low end in a band tends to understand flow in a way a lot of DJs never quite get to.
