About
Gene English is a DJ for hire in Byron Bay, NSW.
Gene English was raised on Eora country and is now based on Bundjalung country, playing deep house, breakbeats and minimal deep tech. The sets go blissed out rather than hard, with smooth grooves and a disco sensibility that gets hips moving without demanding anything of anyone. It's a warm way to run a dance floor, and it suits an outdoor party or a long summer evening as much as a club. Byron Bay based.
