About
DJ Will Reilly is a DJ for hire in Newcastle, NSW.
Easy-going is the word Will uses, and the working style backs it up: tell him what you want and he'll build the night around it. These are open format DJs, so any genre is fair game, though the usual ground is 60s to 90s, pop, dance, disco and electronic, with children's music available for the family end of the day. Newcastle based. An undercover spot with two standard power points is preferred, but there's flexibility if your venue works differently. Public liability insurance held.
The show
Energy is the thing here. Will and the team are DJs who genuinely want the floor full, and it changes how a night runs, because a DJ watching the room is quicker to move on from a song that isn't working. Fun is the tone rather than anything too serious about itself. Bring a crowd that wants to dance and they'll meet it, and if the room takes a while to warm up, they'll keep working at it until it does.
On the day
An undercover area with two standard power points is what Will would prefer, mostly so the gear stays dry and everything runs off separate circuits. Venues rarely match the ideal though. If yours is set up differently, raise it in your enquiry and he'll work out an approach that suits the space you've actually got.
