About
DJ Sneakz is a DJ for hire in Hobart, TAS.
Hobart DJ who keeps things fun without the cheesy mic patter, unless cheesy mic patter is what you're after. Requests are welcome, within reason. Ahead of the night you'll get asked what genres you like, your must-plays and do-not-plays, how you want the evening to build, whether there are speeches, and whether the venue's supplying sound. Then it gets read live from there. Pioneer console, a sound system sized to your room, wireless mics for announcements and dance floor lighting. Lasers, effects and smoke are optional extras for the back half of the night. Setup and pack-down are included, and all it needs is a power point.
The show
Fun and relaxed, but organised underneath. Sneakz reads the room and keeps the energy climbing without leaning on corny microphone chat. Unless corny is the brief, in which case just say so. Requests get taken, within reason. Before the night he'll want to know the genres you're into, the songs that have to get played and the ones that absolutely must not, how the evening should build, and whether there are speeches to work around. Then it gets steered live from there.
On the day
One power point within reach. Plus a dance floor, obviously. That really is the list, because the console, the sound system, the mics and the lighting all come with him. If the venue is supplying sound or lighting, mention it up front so he brings the right half of the kit instead of duplicating what's already there. Setting up and packing down are both included.
Performance options
A booking includes a Pioneer console and performance setup, a sound system matched to your room and how many people are in it, wireless mics so speeches and announcements carry, and lighting over the dance floor that builds as the night goes. Playlists are put together from what you've told him, then adjusted live as the room shifts. Lasers, effects lighting and a smoke machine are optional for the peak part of the night. Setup, pack-down and coordinating with your venue are all part of it.
