About

DJ Oz is a DJ for hire in Sydney, NSW.

Chris mixes across Top 40, 70s old school and pretty much anything a guest calls out, and his high energy is what people notice first. Weddings, corporate events and private parties out of Sydney. He'll talk everything through with you before the date so nothing is a surprise on the night. There's more than one shape to a booking here: DJ with a female singer, DJ with a sax player, DJ and MC, or DJ alongside a full band. Keyboard, piano and karaoke are all in his range too, along with lighting and staging. He needs venue access two hours before the start, allocated parking, and shelter if it's outdoors. Public liability cover in place.

The show

High energy is the thing people notice about Chris. He plays across Top 40 and 70s old school and will take whatever gets called out from the floor, so the night moves with the crowd rather than a fixed list. Before the date he'll go through everything with you, the timings, the must-plays, the moments that matter, so there are no surprises on the night. Years in the industry sit behind that, and it shows in how quickly he reads a room.

On the day

Two hours in the venue before the start time, which covers carrying the gear in, setting it up and testing it without guests stepping over cables. Parking needs to be allocated, since there's a fair bit to carry. And if you're outdoors, shelter is required. Sort those three things with your venue early and the rest of the day looks after itself.

Performance options

The booking can be more than one person. DJ on his own, or DJ with a female singer for live vocals over the set. There's a DJ and sax option, which works well through cocktail hour and then lifts later. DJ and MC if you need someone running announcements. Or DJ alongside a full band, so you get live music and a DJ covering the gaps. Keyboard, piano and karaoke are in range too, along with lighting and staging.
