About
DJ Lavida is a DJ for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Not just a DJ booth. Lavida works open format out of Sydney and can play multi-instrumental, running a drum pad live over the mix, or team up with singers, a sax player, percussion, or a string duo, trio or quartet. Major events, corporate functions, weddings and private parties are all on the books. All genres, from 20s and 30s material through to current dance music, plus audiovisual if the room needs it. Equipment can come from him or from the venue, whichever suits. What he promises is plain enough: a floor that stays busy.
The show
Two things are promised and both are plain. The first is professionalism, meaning the booking runs the way it was agreed and Lavida is where he said he'd be. The second is a dance floor that stays busy from early on to the end of the night, which is really the only measure that counts once the room fills. Everything else about the setup, the instruments and the guest players is arranged around getting to that.
On the day
Either his equipment or yours. Lavida can bring his own DJ setup along, and audiovisual gear as well when the room needs a screen. Just say which way you want to go when you enquire, because it changes what he loads into the car.
