About
DJ & Event Music by Beth is a DJ for hire in Bendigo, VIC.
Beth has shared a stage with Tommy Emmanuel, Jimi Hocking and Geoff Achison, which tells you the guitar playing is serious. The Bendigo based act covers two jobs in one: more than twenty years of solo guitar, acoustic or electric, across jazz, blues, pop and rock, and a full DJ service with lighting for when the dance floor opens. Her own music streams in over 80 countries. Guitar versions of Free Falling, Blinding Lights, Somebody That I Used to Know and Fields of Gold give a fair sense of the repertoire, and requests are welcome. So an evening can start with background guitar over dinner and end with a DJ set, all from one performer and a single power point.

The show
What Beth brings is a solo guitarist with twenty years of repertoire behind her, moving between contemporary, jazz, blues, pop and rock and blending the styles and techniques as the room asks for it. She's self taught, and she plays corporate events and private functions as readily as she sets the mood in a cafe, bar or club, or backs another artist at a show. Expect a performance that guests actually stop and listen to rather than one that fills the gaps between speeches.
