About
DeSilva is a DJ for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
DeSilva works across machines, instruments and instinct, blending DJing with live analogue performance and improvising in real time rather than running a prepared set. Tech, minimal and house are the territory, and the sound is hypnotic, patient and built on groove. He treats the booth as somewhere to explore rather than execute. Melbourne based, and a member of Kerfew, a South Asian collective focused on community, representation and long-form dancefloor experiences.
