About

Melbourne Didgeridoo Player is a didgeridoo player for hire in Melbourne, VIC.

A descendant of the Palawa people of Tasmania who has been playing yidaki for more than 30 years and released more than 15 albums. His work has taken him around the world, including performances for the Australian Embassy, Qantas, the Grand Prix, VACCA, Cummins and DHL, and a booking for the Sultan of Brunei. He has also worked alongside Peter Gabriel and Wim Hof. At an event the playing can go two ways: a deep, haunting sound that changes the feel of a room, or something more interactive that brings the audience in. He speaks and plays at AGMs and corporate functions too, and can help organise a Welcome to Country for your event.

He was amazing. All the material on your website and his instagram doesn’t really do him justice The performance was absolutely amazing and so special. It sounded unbelievable and it was my favourite part of the night. He even made guests cry with how amazing it was We want to hire him for our wedding, baby shower / any other events we can think of lol I’ll send some videos of him from the night

The performance was great. The fellas appeared to be really enjoying it and engaged. One of the fellas had a jam with the didgeridoo player as did one of the visitors. He was polite, professional and respectful to all staff, prisoners and visitors from the Aboriginal community.
