About

Silent Disco by Disco Peeps Au is a dancer for hire in Sydney, NSW.

Everyone gets a wireless headset, and the party goes wherever you are. Disco Peeps Au run silent discos across Australia, from Sydney out, with hosts who work the crowd rather than hide behind the desk. There are guided silent disco tours that walk a group through the city while they dance, which lands well for work Christmas parties and team days. There are silent dance classes too, covering pop choreography, viral routines and line dances, with instructors who can teach a room full of people who have never danced. Themed parties, corporate nights and private celebrations all get built to order. The team hold permits where a city requires them for tours, along with current public liability, first aid, working with children checks and police checks. For kids' events, the sister act is Disco Kids Au.

The show

Every guest gets a headset and the room turns into a dance floor without a speaker stack in sight. The hosts are the engine of it: they read who's in front of them, pull people in and keep the energy climbing rather than standing back at the desk. Nothing is off the shelf. A themed party, a corporate night and a private celebration each get built differently. Plenty of clients book again, which tells you most of what you need to know about how the first one went.

On the day

Mainly they want a group in the mood to dance and carry on. Technical needs depend entirely on which package you land on, so those details come through once the format is settled.

Performance options

Three things on offer. The guided silent disco tour walks your group through the city with a wireless headset each, dancing between landmarks, and it's the one that solves a work Christmas party or a team day. Silent dance classes teach iconic pop choreography, viral routines or classic line dances, with instructors who can get a room of non-dancers moving. And the instructor-led disco is the party starter, run with games and challenges to keep everyone on their feet. Private parties, corporate activations, hens parties, weddings and larger public events all get covered.
