About
Sapphire Dance is a dancer for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Bollywood and Indian classical dance, brought to Melbourne events by professionally trained dancers from Studio J Dance. Sapphire Dance mixes traditional and folk forms with contemporary fusion, so a set can run from something classical and precise straight into the big cinematic numbers people recognise. They've danced at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and the Bendigo Easter Festival, plus a long run of corporate and cultural events. Bookings come as live stage shows, roving, or interactive workshops where guests get taught a few moves themselves. That last format turns a polite audience into a participating one.
