About
Filthy Alien Entertainment is a dancer for hire in Byron Bay, NSW.
A tribe of female extraterrestrials, which is the framing, and underneath it a Byron Bay crew of flow artists who each bring a different discipline. Aerial work with pyro, pole, fire, silks, belly dance, burlesque and cabaret, podium dancing, contortion and LED routines. Filthy Alien Entertainment builds shows that combine aerial and fire in the one routine rather than running them as separate turns, and a booking can stack several performance types together if you want more than one. Festivals, corporate events, parties and weddings. Each performer carries insurance covering their own discipline.
The show
The signature move is putting aerial and fire into the same routine instead of running them one after the other, so what you watch is a single piece rather than two turns stitched together. Movement and flow sit at the heart of it. Performers work across silks, pole, pyro, contortion, belly dance, burlesque and LED, and the sci-fi framing holds the whole thing together as one show. Expect something that reads as choreography, not a sequence of tricks.
Performance options
You aren't locked into a single discipline. If you want more than one performance type across the night, the crew combine them into one booking, which is how the aerial and fire routines end up sharing a piece. Tell us what the room is like and how much of the night you want covered, and the mix gets built from there.
