About
Unsuspected is a cover band for hire in Blacktown, NSW.
Blacktown band with a tight, punchy sound and strong vocals up front, sticking to the well known classics that get a floor moving and a room singing. That's the whole idea. No detours into obscurity, just the songs people came to hear, played properly. A demo covers some of the repertoire and the full list comes on request. They'd like about five metres by three to work in, and two hours to get the gear up before doors. Insured.
Watch
The show
Well known classics, played by a band who have worked out exactly which ones get a crowd off their seats and singing back at them. There's no attempt to be clever about it. A fun night is the entire goal, and the song choices follow from that.
On the day
About five metres by three is the working area they'd like, which is enough for the full band to stand without anyone playing into someone else's back. Allow two hours ahead of the advertised start for the gear to go up, so put that on the run sheet early rather than assuming they can arrive with the guests.
