About
The Volt is a cover band for hire in Port Macquarie, NSW.
Uptempo the whole way through, with nothing slow enough to clear the floor. The Volt work out of Port Macquarie playing stadium rock anthems and Aussie classics: AC/DC, The Angels, The Church, Cold Chisel, Divinyls, the Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac and ZZ Top. Jailbreak, Take a Long Line, La Grange, Evie, Flame-adjacent pub rock staples, that sort of night. There's a quieter selection tucked away for the earlier hours too. Weddings, venue gigs, private functions and corporate events all suit. Outdoor bookings need the stage area covered. The band is insured.
On the day
One thing to sort if you are putting them outside: the stage area has to be under cover. Rain and electric guitars are a bad mix, and a marquee, awning or verandah will do the job. Indoor bookings do not need anything special from you beyond room for a four piece and somewhere to plug in.
