About
The Rock Addicts is a cover band for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Pub rock done by people who were there for it. The Rock Addicts play classic rock hits stretching from the 60s through to the 2000s, with the 70s and 80s Australian pub scene sitting right at the centre of the set. It's a four piece, and it's a watchable one, which matters more than bands admit. The material is picked to work on a mixed-age room rather than a room of purists. They're insured, and they'll send a set list through once you ask for a quote. All they need on site is room for four, a PA and some lights.
Watch
The show
Retro rock across four decades, from the 60s into the 2000s, with the Australian pub rock years of the 70s and 80s at the heart of it. Four experienced players who treat the material as a tribute to those bands rather than a run through a covers list. It's a watchable act as much as an audible one, and the song choices are broad enough that a mixed age crowd finds plenty it knows. These blokes have been doing this a long time and it shows in the playing.
On the day
Space for four musicians to set up in, plus a PA system and lighting. That really is the entire requirement, which makes them an easy act to slot into a venue that already runs live music. Worth measuring the corner you have in mind before you enquire, so there are no surprises when the gear comes through the door.
