About
The Jacks is a cover band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
The Jacks work big rooms across Queensland, from the Gold Coast up through Brisbane, out to country Queensland and as far north as Cairns. Credits include the Ekka, Star Casino Gold Coast, Brisbane Town Hall, the Brisbane Convention Centre, Southport Sharks, the Gold Coast Turf Club, the Chirn Park Street Festival and the Stanthorpe Festival. Book them as a five, six or seven piece depending on the room, with male and female leads sharing the dancefloor songs: Livin' On A Prayer, Blinding Lights, Murder On The Dancefloor, Sweet Caroline, Funkytown. Play times are flexible and they'll sort the running order with your venue contact beforehand. They're insured.
The show
You pick the size. Five, six or seven pieces, chosen to match the room rather than whatever the band happens to feel like bringing. Male and female leads share the front, so the dance material isn't limited to one voice: Livin' On A Prayer, Blinding Lights, Murder On The Dancefloor, Funkytown. Playing times bend around your schedule, and they'll speak to your venue contact directly beforehand to sort load-in, set breaks and where everything goes. That last part is unglamorous and it's the reason their nights tend to run smoothly.
Performance options
Three line-up sizes to choose between, five, six or seven pieces, scaled to the size of your function and the room it's in. The band works big Queensland venues regularly, and the list gives you a sense of the scale they're used to: the Ekka, Star Casino Gold Coast, Brisbane Town Hall, the Brisbane Convention Centre, the Chirn Park Street Festival and the Stanthorpe Festival among others. Tell them the venue and guest numbers and they'll recommend which line-up fits.
