About
The Everly Brothers Story is a cover band for hire in Broadbeach Waters, QLD.
Four decades of Everly Brothers hits, condensed into a two hour show. Mark and Mike work the Gold Coast, Brisbane and northern NSW club circuit with it, and both are part of the current Delltones show, which is where the harmony discipline comes from. Wake Up Little Susie, Cathy's Clown, Dream and Bye Bye Love all get their turn. Morning melodies programmes are a natural fit. The pair are fully self contained, bringing their own production and lighting, and need about an hour to set up. Insured.
The show
Harmony is the whole point of this one, and it's the part these two have had the most practice at. Mark and Mike both sing in the current Delltones show, so the close two-part work that made the Everly Brothers famous is second nature by now rather than something they're approximating. Expect the real songs, the rich blend, and a run through the catalogue of a duo who sat at the centre of early rock and roll and country. Two hours of it, covering four decades of hits.
On the day
Nothing needed from your end. THE EVERLY BROTHERS STORY travel fully self contained, carrying their own production and lighting, so you don't need to hire a rig or find a sound company. Allow about an hour on site before the show for them to get everything up and working. That's the only thing to pencil into your timing.
Performance options
There's a second show available from the same pair. Because both men perform in the current Delltones line-up, they can also be booked to deliver The Delltones show rather than the Everly Brothers one. Worth knowing if you're programming a bill and want two different eras from the one act.
