The Curve is a cover band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.

The Curve started in Queensland in 2020 and can be booked as a duo, a trio or a full band, which is the point of them. Live guitars, acoustic or electric drums and backing tracks fill out a sound bigger than the stage footprint suggests. Billie-Lee and Domenic share lead vocals, with Kyle on guitar. Party hits run from the 70s through to current chart songs: The Proclaimers, White Stripes, Toto, Dragon, Midnight Oil, Jet, Pearl Jam. There's a Solid Rock tribute show in the repertoire for Aussie rock nights. Production and lighting come with them, and a live DJ can fill the gaps before, between and after sets. Public liability cover held.

The show

Live guitars and drums, acoustic or electric, sitting on top of backing tracks, which gives you a bigger sound than the number of people on stage would suggest. Billie-Lee and Domenic share the lead vocals and Kyle plays guitar. The material is party hits from the 70s through to the current charts: The Proclaimers, White Stripes, Toto, Dragon, Midnight Oil, Jet, Pearl Jam. For an Aussie rock night there's the Solid Rock tribute show. And the music doesn't stop between sets, because a live DJ fills the gaps before, during and after the band plays.

On the day

The sound equipment and stage lighting come with them, sized to the venue, whether that's a small function room or something much larger. So the venue side of things is covered without a separate hire booking. They will want the venue details and your running times before the day, because the rig they pack depends on the size of the room they're walking into.

Performance options

Four sizes to pick between. A duo, a trio, a four piece band or a five piece band, all playing the same party material with more or less weight behind it. The bigger line-ups suit rooms with a real dance floor. The duo and trio work where the space is tight or the night is quieter early on. Live musicians in every version, with backing tracks filling out whatever isn't on stage.
