About
The City Slickers is a cover band for hire in Adelaide, SA.
Timeless is the operating word here. The City Slickers play Beyond the Sea, Fly Me to the Moon, Moondance, Under the Boardwalk, Copacabana and Sway, and keep going into Reet Petite, Quando Quando and Can't Take My Eyes Off of You. It's swing, soul and easy listening rather than pub rock, which makes it a natural fit for an Adelaide wedding or a corporate dinner where people want to talk between songs and dance after. Seven members with years of experience between them. They need a performance area of at least eight by four metres, power on both sides, a green room and an hour either side for set up and pack down.

The show
Seven members, and a lot of years of playing between them. The City Slickers work in swing, soul and easy listening rather than pub rock, so the material carries an Adelaide wedding or a corporate dinner without shouting over the conversation. Beyond the Sea, Fly Me to the Moon, Moondance, Under the Boardwalk, Copacabana, Sway, Reet Petite, Quando Quando and Can't Take My Eyes Off of You are all in the repertoire.
On the day
A performance area of eight metres by four is the minimum. They need two 240 volt outlets, one on each side of that area, and a table or band area seating seven. A changing space or green room is required, along with parking close to where they play. Allow an hour before the event to set up, and another hour afterwards to pack down.
