The Booty Call Band are a five piece party band fronted by Marnie Hirst, and they've been regulars at Sydney's better band venues for five years. The repertoire is huge and it's all played live: sixties soul, seventies disco, eighties retro, nineties dance, plus rock, pop, funk and a decent slice of recent Top 40. They'll shape the sets around who's in the room. Want cool jazz and smooth soul for cocktails before a wedding? That works. So does the fully costumed Shake Ya Booty theme show, which is disco, dance classics and a bit of glitter. Clubs, pubs, corporate functions and parties.
