About
The Band JAKE is a cover band for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
A four piece out of the Gold Coast with a lead singer who carries the front of the room. The Band JAKE cover popular material, blues, country rock and 50s and 60s rock and roll, and they're happy to mix genres across a night rather than lock into one lane. If you know what your patrons want to hear, tell them and they'll shape the set list around it. Otherwise they'll send one through. They've played most of the venues on the Goldie, Twin Towns included. PA and lighting can come with them. The members carry their own insurance.
The show
Four players with a lead singer who can front a room. Popular covers, blues and country rock all get an airing, along with rock and roll from the 50s and 60s, and nothing sits in one lane for long. A bit of everything in an evening is the normal approach. If you know what your patrons want, say so and the set list gets reshaped to match. Otherwise they will send a list through for you to look over first. Ask about who is in the line-up while you are considering it and you will get an answer.
