Super Cell is a cover band for hire in Taree, NSW.
SUPER CELL are a four piece rock covers band working the NSW coast between Sydney and Coffs Harbour. The list is heavy on Australian rock and 90s alternative: The Angels, Screaming Jets, Choirboys, Dragon, Grinspoon, INXS, Midnight Oil, Mondo Rock, Noiseworks, Eskimo Joe, Daddy Cool. Alongside that sit Radiohead, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Incubus, Pearl Jam territory, The Killers, Billy Idol, Bryan Adams, Creedence, Tom Petty, Matchbox 20, Queens of the Stone Age and Lenny Kravitz. Seasoned players with their own gear and a good PA. They can run two, three or four hour shows depending on the event, and they'll want a covered area with solid power if you're putting them outside.
The show
Four players, quality gear, and a set that runs from 80s rock through grunge and alternative into top 40. These are musicians who've done this a long time, and the difference shows in the small things: songs land where they should, the sound holds together, nobody's fiddling with a lead mid set. Straightforward rock covers, played properly.
On the day
Under cover, with solid power. If SUPER CELL are playing outside, the floor they're on needs to be covered, and the sides want protection from rain too if the weather looks like turning. Worth sorting before the day rather than during it.
Performance options
Three show lengths to pick from. Two hours suits a shorter function, three hours is the standard night and what most bookings end up being, and four hours covers the long ones where the party keeps going. The band arrives with its own PA either way, so the length is about how long you want music for, not about what gear turns up.
