Soul Essence is a cover band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Seven players, one sound that does not fit neatly anywhere: funk, soul, R and B and jazz, fused into something genuinely its own. Soul Essence reinvents classics rather than copying them, and pulls out hits most bands leave alone. Between seven members there is an enormous amount of material, and whatever they play, they play it funky. The individual players have long professional careers behind them, sharing stages with some very well known names. There is also a four piece version, MO'GROOVE, drawn from the same group, which adds acid jazz and a reggae and salsa fusion. Corporate events, weddings, private parties and venue bookings.
