About
Rhythm Method is a cover band for hire in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Five experienced players on the Sunshine Coast, working through the hits from the 1960s onward and encouraging the crowd to join in. Rhythm Method cover pop, soft rock, yacht rock, country rock and rockabilly, and they'll build the list around the songs you actually want. A typical night runs three one hour sets with short breaks. Take It Easy, Bad Moon Rising, Eight Days A Week, Folsom Prison Blues, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Honky Tonk Woman, Wagon Wheel, Don't Be So Reckless. High energy, medium, or mellow: that call is yours to make. All the sound gear and lighting is theirs. They just need power close by.
The show
You set the level. Rhythm Method can play the night high energy for a room that wants to dance, sit at a medium pitch where people are eating and talking, or keep it mellow where the music is meant to sit behind the conversation. Whichever you pick, the commitment from the five of them is the same. It's a useful thing to be able to specify up front, because a lot of bands only have one setting.
On the day
Access to a power source close to where they'll play, and that's the entire list. All the sound equipment and lighting comes with the band, so you're not hiring a PA or working out what a five piece needs. Point them at a power point and the rest is theirs.
