About
RetroJet is a cover band for hire in Cornubia, QLD.
Four decades of classic rock hits, 60s through 90s, played with a hard edge. RetroJet have been together seven years around Brisbane and stick to the big ones: Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, ZZ Top, the Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, Pink Floyd, Green Day. Purple Haze, Whole Lotta Rosie, Sweet Child O' Mine, La Grange, Thunderstruck, Roadhouse Blues, Money For Nothing. No filler in there. They bring the PA and all the backline, so a covered area to set up in is the whole requirement. Put your dancing shoes on.

The show
Classic rock with a hard edge, played by a Brisbane band that has been together seven years. RetroJet stay on the big names and the big songs, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Guns N' Roses. Nothing obscure, nothing to sit through politely while you wait for one you recognise. If that's the sound you had in mind for the night, this is a band that plays it properly rather than approximately.
On the day
An area under cover to set up in, and that covers it. RetroJet supply the PA and all the backline themselves, amps and the rest, so there's no equipment list for you to work through and no hire company to chase. Outdoors is fine as long as the band and the gear are out of the weather.
