About
Renegade Groove is a cover band for hire in Maroochydore, QLD.
Renegade Groove work the Sunshine Coast, and the size of the act moves with the night. Book the mellow acoustic duo for a relaxed room, or the full party band when you want people up and dancing. The material spans the 60s through to current chart songs, taking in classic rock, funk, blues, disco, reggae and pop along the way, and Ray takes requests if there's something particular you want played. They read the crowd rather than run a fixed set. Allow an hour and a half either side for setting up and packing down, plus a power supply.
Watch
The show
The act sizes itself to the night. At one end, a mellow acoustic duo for a room where people want to talk. At the other, the full party band when the point is dancing. Requests go to Ray, so if there's a song your crowd will be waiting for, put it forward before the night.
On the day
Power for the gear, and an hour and a half at either end for setting up and packing down again. Build that into the timing when you plan the run of the night. A drink and a feed for the band is always welcome, though not compulsory.
