Pop Rock is a cover band for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Seventies and eighties, played by Sydney musicians who have spent decades doing it. POP ROCK build their sets from the anthems that get a room singing: INXS, Dragon, Bon Jovi, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen, The Angels, Daddy Cool, Van Morrison, Creedence, Hunters & Collectors, David Bowie. Sweet Caroline is in there. So is Khe Sanh. Everything is played live with proper vocals and instrumentation rather than thinned out to fit a small line-up, and the tightness comes from thousands of hours on stage together. They can bring PA, lights and operators, or work with what the venue already has. All they need beyond that is a stage and 240 volt power.
The show
Seventies and eighties anthems, chosen because they turn a quiet room into a singalong. INXS, Dragon, Bon Jovi, The Rolling Stones, and the ones that always land, Sweet Caroline, Jessie's Girl, Khe Sanh. It's played live and played properly, with real vocals and full instrumentation rather than a thin approximation of the record. The tightness comes from thousands of hours on stage. The set reaches the 40 plus crowd who grew up with it and the younger ones discovering it, which is generally good news for a dance floor and for a bar.
Performance options
The band can arrive with PA, lighting and operators to run it, or work with what your venue already has and whoever runs it there. Both options are on the table, so tell them which way your room is set up when you enquire.
