About
Plumbdogs is a cover band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
The Plumbdogs make a point of playing songs other bands leave alone. Fifties to now, rock heavy, with a set full of the ones that get a shout of recognition rather than a polite nod: Get A Haircut, Jukebox In Siberia, Down On The Corner, Handle With Care, Copperhead Road, Ain't As Good As I Once Was. Fun loving is the phrase they use, and it fits. This is a band that talks to the room. Brisbane based, working pubs, functions, corporate nights and parties. They'll need one to two hours to set up depending on the venue, plus power and shade if you've put them outside.
The show
Allow one to two hours before the event starts for the band to get in and set up. How long it actually takes comes down to the venue, so a room up a flight of stairs or a long way from the loading area will use the upper end of that.
On the day
Power on hand where the band sets up, and shade over them if you've put the stage outside. Both depend on the location, so let them know what the spot looks like.
