About
Pennies from Heaven 4pce Band is a cover band for hire in Bundaberg Central, QLD.
Four musicians from Bundaberg who've worked out that the job is keeping people in the room. Pennies from Heaven cover a lot of ground, pub rock and blues through to funk, disco, country, reggae, indie and jazz, and they keep adding to the list rather than riding the same set for years. Valerie, Rebel Yell, Sober, Black Velvet, April Sun in Cuba, Walking by Myself, Uptown Funk and Nutbush all get a run, with a few surprises worked in. They're easy to deal with from a venue's point of view and sensible about sound levels, which publicans notice. Private functions, corporate events, festivals, hotels and clubs. Based in central Queensland and happy to travel.

The show
The four of them treat a night out as their responsibility, not the venue's. Pennies from Heaven play to keep people in the room and send them home with something to talk about, and the professionalism shows up in the small stuff: staff and management find them easy, and nobody has to walk over halfway through the second set to ask about the volume. Sound levels are not an argument you will be having. Punters get a good night, and that is the whole point of the exercise.
