About
Munkey Town is a cover band for hire in Brisbane City, QLD.
Alternative rock and blues, played with a funky grit that keeps it from sounding polite. Munkey Town build sets with real emotion in them and rhythms that pull a room along. Brisbane based. The sound crosses between genres rather than sitting in one, which suits an audience that hasn't come for a specific thing. Works in a smaller venue and on a festival stage, and the musicianship holds up in both.
