About
Jazmaree is a cover band for hire in Cronulla, NSW.
Kieran's guitar sits warm and pop-leaning under Jazmaree Dawson's vocals, and that's the core of this Cronulla act: a two-piece that plays every event, with drummer Rhys joining for select bookings. The song choices are broad and familiar. Valerie, Hey Jude, Dreams, Ain't No Sunshine, Missy Higgins' Scar, Landslide, Hotel California, Purple Rain, The Horses, Jolene. Three sets deep, so a long night doesn't repeat itself. They turn up an hour or more before the start to set up properly and talk it through with whoever is running the event, and they don't charge for that time. Even ground and easy access to power is all the space really needs.
The show
They're on site an hour to ninety minutes before they play, which gives them time to set up without rushing and to talk things through with whoever is running your event. No charge for that time, or for packing down afterwards, however long it takes. It sounds like a small thing. It isn't. A band that arrives with ten minutes to spare is a band still fiddling with leads while your first guests walk in.
On the day
Even ground with easy access to power is the main thing they'll ask about, so think about where the nearest outlet actually is rather than where you'd like the band to stand. Those two are often not the same spot. Where a venue has no system of its own, they can supply the equipment, and that side gets arranged separately from the performance itself.
Performance options
The shortest option is a single one hour set with all gear supplied and no charge for setting up or packing down. From there it goes to two hours as two 40 minute sets with recorded music filling the twenty minutes between, three hours as three sets, and four hours as four. Every option includes the gear. For weddings, the first dance is played live and the sound system is available for your speeches. Equipment hire and travel are handled as part of the longer bookings.
