About
Huxgold is a cover band for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
The show
Three players, and a lot more noise than three usually makes. HUXGOLD move around between styles rather than locking into one, so a set wanders where the room takes it and the jams stretch out when something's working. The mood they're after is loose and good-natured. If you want a band that reads what's in front of them instead of running a fixed list top to bottom, this is that.
On the day
Power, and a stage with room on it for three musicians and their gear. That's the short list. It doesn't need to be a big platform, just enough space that the drummer isn't wearing the guitarist's elbow. Somewhere for the band to grab a drink and a bite between sets is appreciated too, though it's a courtesy rather than a condition.
