About

Heatwave is a show band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.

Heatwave build outwards from a solid six piece core: male and female vocalists, drums, bass, keyboard and guitar. That core can play subtle jazz over dinner and then turn the room over to full party material. Add a sax for seven, a trumpet as well for eight, and the full Heatwave Horns of sax, trumpet and trombone for nine. Ten brings three lead vocalists in with the horns. The twelve piece, a popular pick for large corporate events, adds two dancers on top of that. The song list keeps growing and covers soul, rock and disco classics through to current chart material. Melbourne based, and they work weddings and corporate events around Australia and overseas.
