About
Gravel & Co is a cover band for hire in Blue Mountains, NSW.
Five seasoned rockers out of the Blue Mountains, playing Australian and international rock from the seventies through the noughties. Gravel & Co go in hard: heavy guitars, a tight rhythm section, strong vocals. The list reads like a pub jukebox in the best way, with AC/DC, Cold Chisel, The Angels, Dragon, Daddy Cool, Mondo Rock, Noiseworks, Rose Tattoo, Midnight Oil, Hoodoo Gurus and Australian Crawl beside Queen, ZZ Top, U2, Deep Purple and Kiss. Wolfmother, Jet and Thirsty Merc bring it forward a couple of decades. You supply the power and they'll bring sound, lighting and PA if needed. A covered area is preferred.
The show
Five players who've been doing this a long time, and it shows in how hard they hit from the first song. Gravel & Co play Australian and international rock across the seventies through the noughties, and the list is full of songs a pub crowd will recognise inside two bars - AC/DC, Chisel, The Angels, Rose Tattoo, Queen, ZZ Top. They're not aloof about it either. There's plenty of back and forth with the room across the night.
On the day
You supply power. They supply the sound, the lighting and a PA if the venue hasn't got one. They'd rather play somewhere with a roof over the gear, so if your event is outdoors, plan a marquee or a verandah for the band.
