Good Vibes Music is a cover band for hire in Sydney, NSW.
It started with a group of friends who just wanted to play together. Good Vibes Music now covers weddings, birthdays and company parties around Sydney, and the line-up scales to fit: trio one night, full band the next. The song list leans on the eighties, nineties and 2000s, taking in pop, dance, alternative, R&B and love songs. They're insured for public liability, and they can bring their own sound system if you need it. Nothing complicated about them. Just familiar songs, played by people who clearly enjoy playing them together.
The show
Good Vibes Music play to be joined in with. Guests sing, guests dance, and the band treats a party like something they are part of rather than something they are watching from behind a microphone stand. There are slower moments too, songs pitched at the couple or the guest of honour rather than the dance floor. Mostly though it is eighties, nineties and 2000s material aimed squarely at getting your Sydney room up and moving for the night.
On the day
They've got their own sound system and can bring it if the venue hasn't got one. Just say so when you enquire, because it changes what they load in.
Performance options
You can book them as a duo, a trio, or the full band, depending on the size of the room and how loud you want the night to get. The songs stay the same across all three, it's just how much of the arrangement you hear. Sound system comes with them if you need it, or they'll run through the venue's own if there's one already installed.
