About
Good To Go is a cover band for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Highway To Hell, Khe Sanh, April Sun In Cuba, Sweet Home Alabama. That's the territory Good To Go live in. This Sydney band plays pop, rock and country covers that people already know the words to, which is really the whole trick with a function band. Weddings, corporate nights, pubs and parties all get the same treatment: songs you'll sing back at them. They bring their own PA and lighting, so the venue doesn't need to sort anything out. Sixties Beatles through to eighties rock and a good run of Australian classics, all in one night if that's what the room wants.
Watch
The show
You will recognise most of what Good To Go play, and that is the whole idea. The set is built from pop, rock and country covers that a Sydney crowd has heard a thousand times, so people sing back at the band instead of standing around politely. The dance floor fills. Somewhere in the night a few blokes will murder the chorus of Khe Sanh. It works at a wedding, it works at a pub, and it works at a corporate night once the ties come off.
