Glitterati! is a cover band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.

A repertoire of over a thousand songs is the difference between a band that plays a set and a band that plays your night. Glitterati work out of Brisbane and scale from a three-piece up to a twelve-piece with live brass, moving from Sinatra and Buble at dinner through to top 40 when the dance floor opens. They've worked for clients including Buckingham Palace, HSBC, British Airways, Versace, Mercedes-Benz and Virgin UK. Setup takes thirty minutes and they bring all production and lighting. They'll learn a specific song, add a sax player or extra vocalist, arrive earlier than their usual 6pm, and hand over a wireless mic for speeches. Full public liability insurance and touring permits, and they know how to play inside council noise limits.

The show

Over a thousand songs sit behind this band, and that's what lets them play a whole evening rather than one set. Dinner can be Sinatra and Buble. By the time the floor opens it's current top 40. The line-up scales too, from a three piece up to twelve with live brass, so the same band works for an intimate reception and a full corporate ballroom. Their client list runs to Buckingham Palace, HSBC, British Airways, Versace, Mercedes-Benz and Virgin UK, and they've gigged across England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, Dubai, China, Singapore, Japan and plenty more.

On the day

Thirty minutes is all they need to set up, and they bring all their own production and lighting, so there's nothing for you to hire in. They'll learn a specific song if you ask, which is the one most couples care about. A wireless mic can be made available for speeches, which saves you sourcing one separately. They also know how to work inside council noise limits, so an outdoor or residential venue isn't a problem. Give them your timings and they'll fit around them.

Performance options

Almost everything about the booking bends. You can add players to the line-up, a saxophone, extra vocalists, a full brass section, depending on how big you want it to sound. Their usual arrival is 6pm, but they'll come earlier if guests are in the room before that. And the set itself can go either way: a straight dance floor band all night, or a cocktail set or two for a slower, classier start before things build. There's no fixed menu here. Tell them how the evening runs and they'll put options in front of you.
