About
Generator is a cover band for hire in Adelaide, SA.
Five pieces, more than 200 songs, and a firm view that the crowd belongs in the show. Generator work Adelaide rooms with rock and pop hits from the sixties onward, rearranged into their own party versions rather than played note for note. Audience participation is the whole strategy, right up to pulling people on stage when the night calls for it. They'll bring their own sound and lighting if the venue doesn't have it covered, and the set gets shaped around what your event actually is.
Watch
The show
Generator treat the crowd as part of the show. That's the strategy, not a line. Expect encouragement to get up and dance, and on the right night, guests pulled onto the stage to join in. Five pieces, over 200 songs, rock and pop hits from the sixties on, rearranged into party versions rather than played note for note. The set gets built around what your event actually is, so a wedding and a work function don't get the same night.
On the day
Sound and lighting can both come from the band where your venue doesn't already have them covered. Say which way you're going when you enquire, so they know what to load in.
