About
Gav Bell is a cover band for hire.
Gav Bell fronts this tribute to John Cougar Mellencamp, and the band behind him is stacked with professional players from south-east Queensland. Hurts So Good, Jack & Diane and I Need a Lover all feature, along with plenty more from the catalogue, and the renditions are close enough that most people stop trying to pick the difference. Twenty years of touring has made them a tight outfit. Worth booking for a crowd that grew up on the records.
