About
Euphoria is a cover band for hire in Townsville, QLD.
Four piece out of Townsville, together since 2012. Euphoria play functions, weddings, birthdays and Christmas parties, with a setlist that pulls Cold Chisel and AC/DC up against Fleetwood Mac, Pink, Katy Perry and Zac Brown, plus 70s and 80s hits and a bit of country. A normal night is four sets, one at 60 minutes and three at 45, with recorded music filling the breaks. They're happy to work around speeches and reshuffle the running order on the day. A roving microphone comes at no extra cost for the MC, and with notice they'll arrange an original recording for the bridal waltz. There's also a rock and pop duo version, Les Kez Duo, quoted separately.
Watch
The show
A varied set and a good-natured room, which is most of what you want from a function band. They'll work around speeches and whatever else your running order throws up, and they're happy to shuffle things on the day if the night moves differently than planned. That flexibility is the bit people notice afterwards.
On the day
Standard 240 volt power, flat ground, and shelter that keeps off both rain and dew. A raised stage is preferred over playing on the deck. Allow at least three metres by four for the duo, or six by four for the full band.
Performance options
A standard night is four sets of live music, one running an hour and three at 45 minutes, with recorded music covering the breaks. There's the full band or the duo, whichever suits the room. A roving microphone comes along at no extra cost for your MC or for speeches, so long as you mention it beforehand. And with prior notice they'll arrange a song by the original artist to be played for a moment like the bridal waltz.
