About
Department of Gloom is a cover band for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Alternative and hard rock with industrial textures running underneath, punk intensity in the delivery and indie rock detail in the arrangements. Department of Gloom have three lead vocalists, which is unusual and gives the harmonies somewhere to go. Sydney based. It's built as a visual act as much as a musical one, and the tunes stay in your head longer than the volume would suggest.
