Demolition Sunday is a cover band for hire in Hervey Bay, QLD.
Four piece rock band out of Hervey Bay playing 90s and 2000s grunge and post rock. Chili Peppers, Tool, Silverchair, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, Creed, Blur, 3 Doors Down, Beastie Boys, and a stack more where those came from. Some originals are in the works. They need an hour to set up, and a dry covered area with power. Loud, straightforward, and pitched at people who grew up on that decade. Photo booth, karaoke, AV and an audio engineer can be added if the event needs more than a band.
The show
Four musicians, guitars up loud, working through the grunge and post rock of the 90s and early 2000s. Chili Peppers, Tool, Silverchair, Pearl Jam, Nirvana. That's the whole proposition and they don't dress it up. Some original material is being written at the moment and finds its way into sets.
On the day
An hour before you want them playing, and an area that's dry and under cover with power to it. A four piece rock band and unexpected rain are a bad combination, so the cover matters more than the size of the space.
Performance options
If the band alone isn't enough for the event, they can bring more: a photo booth, karaoke and karaoke jukeboxes, AV and audio gear, and an audio engineer to run it. Handy when one booking has to cover a whole day rather than a two hour slot.
