About
Day Drive is a cover band for hire in Adelaide, SA.
A party covers band out of Adelaide, playing rock, pop and the anthems that get a room moving, drawn from every era rather than one decade. The set is built to keep a mixed crowd interested, which matters at a wedding where the guest list spans three generations. Energy stays up from the first song. Sound system and stage lighting come as part of the booking, both current gear. There's a wedding package that adds an acoustic duo and a DJ if you want music running all day. Public liability insurance held.
Watch
The show
The energy sits high from the opening song and stays there. What makes it work at a wedding is the range: rock and pop pulled from several decades rather than one, so the grandparents get something and so do the twenty-somethings, and the floor doesn't empty when the era changes. The aim, plainly, is a packed dance floor rather than a polite room.
On the day
Nothing to organise on your end. Every booking includes a modern, high end sound system and stage lighting, brought and run by the band.
Performance options
There's a wedding package that widens things out beyond the band. It adds an acoustic duo and a DJ, which covers you for the ceremony and the earlier part of the day, then keeps the music going once the band has finished.
