Brightside is a cover band for hire in Newcastle, NSW.
A Bar Song one minute, Powderfinger the next. Brightside's set list jumps from Shaboozey, Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton to Paramore, Coldplay and Aussie staples like April Sun in Cuba, and it's built to keep a dance floor busy. The Newcastle band runs as a 4 or 5 piece with the option of adding sax or keys, and if they're booked for a reception, a duo or trio can cover the ceremony and canapes earlier in the day. Sets usually run 40 to 60 minutes. They bring everything needed: PA, instruments, leads and mics, and they'll take special request songs, sort music for between sets and help with the run sheet. Public liability insurance is in place.

The show

If there's a song that has to be played, ask and they'll work it in, and they'll also sort the music that plays between sets so the room doesn't go flat. If you're putting together a run sheet, they'll help with that too.
On the day
Power, and a performance space of roughly two metres by three at minimum. If the event is outdoors, cover in case the weather turns. Travel over two hours means accommodation gets built into the quote, and meals for the band members are needed on the day.
